How GivingAid works

From a story on your phone to support from people who care. Here is the whole journey, for the people who start campaigns and the people who give.

  1. 1Story
  2. 2Share
  3. 3Support
  4. 4Impact

Pick your path

GivingAid is built for two kinds of people. Choose yours.

  1. 1

    Tell your story

Pick what you are raising for, add a strong photo, set a goal in your own currency and say plainly what the support will do. Real, specific stories move people most.

  2. 2

    Share it everywhere

Every campaign gets its own link and a QR code. Send it to family, followers and community groups on Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and more. Co-Creators and teams can run a campaign together.

  3. 3

    Welcome your Givers

Givers pick an amount, add a kind word if they like, and you watch progress, Givers and days left update on your campaign. Say thank you, because it matters.

  4. 4

    Show the impact

Post updates as things happen and show where the money goes. Givers who see the difference come back, and share your next campaign too.

Inside a campaign

Everything a Giver needs is on one page. Here is what each part does.

  1. 1

    Photo and category

A strong first picture and a clear cause help people understand your campaign in a second.

  2. 2

    Place and days left

Where the campaign comes from, and how long it has left to reach people.

  3. 3

    Goal and progress

The raised amount and the goal, always shown in the currency the Creator chose.

  4. 4

    Creator and Givers

The person or team behind it, and how many Givers have already joined.

  5. 5

Story, updates and voices of kindness

The full story, where the money goes, progress updates and the kind words Givers leave.

Open to every country and currency

Creators set their goal in their own currency. Givers give in theirs. Neither has to do the maths: you always see both amounts before you confirm.

  • Campaigns show their goal and totals in the Creator's currency.
  • Giving starts in the currency of the country you are in, and you can change the country.
  • Totals across campaigns in different currencies appear as US dollar equivalents.

What we stand for

Creators first

Your story, your voice, your campaign page. We build the tools so you can focus on the people you are reaching.

Clear, always

Goals, progress, updates and where the money goes are shown in plain view, so Givers know exactly what they support.

Kindness in public

Givers can leave a word of encouragement, or give quietly. Both are welcome here.

For everyone, everywhere

Start from any country, in any currency, and share with anyone in the world.

Questions, answered

How do I start a campaign?
Choose "Start a campaign", pick what you are raising for, then add your story, photo, goal and currency. You can save a draft and come back to it. You will need an account to submit.
Who can start a campaign?
Anyone, anywhere. You can raise for yourself, for someone else, or for a community project, and you can add co-Creators or a team.
Can I give from another country?
Yes. You choose an amount in your own currency and see what it is worth in the campaign's currency before you confirm.
Do I need an account to give?
No. You can give without signing in and you can choose to stay anonymous. An account helps you keep track of the campaigns you have backed and saved.
How do I share my campaign?
Use the Share button on your campaign. It gives you your link to copy, one-tap sharing to Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, X, Telegram, LinkedIn and email, and a QR code you can download and print.
What does it cost?
Creating a campaign is free. Creators and organisations receive exactly what is raised, with no deductions and no withdrawal fees. Givers add a 3% processing fee on top of their gift. See the full breakdown.
How do I report a campaign?
Every campaign page has a "Report this campaign" link. Tell us what looks wrong and we will take a look.
